On this skilled workforce  Day, We are paying tribute to the hidden heroes of the modern world: Tech-Community. They are the superheroes, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to develop, innovate, and maintain the technological advancements that have transformed our lives. In this interconnected world, they drive to make technology accessible to all. They work on initiatives to improve digital literacy, and develop inclusive technologies, to ensure a better future.

 

 Technology’s disruptive nature has brought us countless life-changing innovations in the past 10 years and continues to transform our world. According to a prolific survey in 2022,The global information technology market is expected to grow from $8,384.32 billion in 2021 to $9,325.69 billion in 2022 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.2%. The software services segment is the largest segment of the global tech market, with a market size of approximately   $ 474.61 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach $ 525.77 billion in 2023.This segment includes software products, IT services, and business services such as consulting, outsourcing, and support services.

 

IT companies in Pakistan have increased by 37%, with a total of 6,018 registered companies in 2020. Around 1,638 new IT companies registered with Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) in 2022.  The expert data analysts forecasted that Pakistan's internet economy is expected to grow to $30 billion by 2025, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 18%. The exponential growth shows the real and developmental contribution of the Tech-Community in the emerging software industry.
